New Compact and Low Cost Standalone UWB Module with Antenna Integration

  • The UWB module is based on NXP’s SR150 or SR040 Ultra Wideband (UWB) transceiver IC.
  • The UWB SR150 Module integrates all RF circuitry, power management and clock circuitry in one module compliant to IEEE 802.15.4 HRP UWB PHY. It can be used for 2-way measurement with a measurement accuracy of 10cm, for angle of arrival measurement with an accuracy of +/-5 degree and for a TDOA measurement with an accuracy of 0.3ns. It can be also used for data transmission with a data rate of up to 7.8Mbits/s.
  • The UWB SR040 Module is a fully integrated single chip Impulse Radio Ultra-Wideband (IR-UWB) low energy transceiver IC compliant to IEEE 802.15.4/4z HRP UWB PHY.
  • It is designed for Ranging applications in an IOT environment. In can be used for 2-way ranging achieving an accuracy of ±10cm in non-line of sight.
